Transport To and From Nafplio

Whether you are arriving from Athens or planning your return journey, there are several convenient ways to travel to and from our hotel.

By Bus

The public bus system is a reliable and cost-effective way to travel between Athens and Nafplio.

• Travel between Athens International Airport and the Kifissos Bus Station: The X93 Express bus runs directly between the airport and the Kifissos Central Bus Station. The trip typically takes 60–75 minutes. You can view the X93 timetables and ticket info here.

• Travel between Kifissos and Nafplio: Frequent direct buses operate to and from Nafplio throughout the day. The journey is approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. You can check the official KTEL Argolida schedules here to coordinate your trip in either direction.

Pro Tip for your trip to Athens: If you plan to use the Metro once you reach Athens, you should get off at the Eleonas Metro Station rather than waiting until the final stop at Kifissos. The Kifissos terminal does not connect to the Metro system; it is only served by local buses and taxis, so if you stay on until the end, you will miss the direct Metro connection.

Important: When boarding the bus in Nafplio, please inform the driver that you are getting off at Eleonas. They use separate luggage compartments depending on the stop, and this ensures your bags are easily accessible to you.

Private Taxi Transfer

For a completely stress-free experience, we can arrange a private taxi transfer for your arrival, departure, or any intermediate travel. A professional driver can meet you at the airport arrivals gate, your hotel in Athens, or any other specified location to drive you directly to our front door. Likewise, we can coordinate your return trip or transport to your next destination. This is the most comfortable way to travel, especially if you have heavy luggage or specific scheduling needs. Car Rental

Renting a car is the best choice if you plan to explore the Argolis region at your own pace. The drive between Athens and Nafplio is roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes via the modern A7 highway. Most major rental agencies are available at the airport for your trip to Nafplio, or we can assist you with a local rental for your journey from the hotel to your next destination.
